ROAD OVERSEER, MISSING.

By Telegraph—Press Association MANGAWEKA, December 30.

A man, Edward Peck, left Mangaweka on horseback on Boxing Night for his home three miles out. His horse, saddle and bridle were found on the roadside about a mile from the township on the following morning.

So far there are no tidings of the missing man, although search parties have been hunting in the vicinity to-day. He was employed as pad overseer to the Kiwitsa County Council."
