Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Tuesday was 6 points. By Telegraph —Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 29. The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow:—West-erly winds strong to gale are probable generally with rain in most parts south of Kawhia and East Cape. Barometer little movement north, but falling in southern districts.
