ROME, December 28. The Austro-Russian tension perturbs Italy.
Newspapers declare that in the event ot conflict with Austria a large number of Italians would volunteer to serve with Servia. The Austrian troops in Bosnia are suffering severely from cold, and in addition a number have been attacked by typhus. TRIBUTE TO RUSSIAN MINISTER. AUSTRIA URGED TO COME TO TERMS. Received December 29, 8.25 a.m. LONDON, December 28. "The Times" says that M. Isvolsky, the Russian Foreign Minister, has sacrificed his popularity for the sake of Eurapean tranquility. The same journal urges Austria to come to terms quickly, since the existing situation constitutes a danger to peace, and the danger is becoming more menacing as the winter slips away. AUSTRIAN PATROL FIRED ON. TWO OF THE AGGRESSORS KILLED. Received December 29, 10.5 p.m. VIENNA, December 29. An Austrian patrol when returning to Zelinje, in Bosnia, were fired on by some Servian peasants or soldiers on the opposite side of the river Drina. The patrol returned the fire, and killed two of the aggressors. Received December 29 10.5 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 29. The Turkish Government has informed M. Pallavicini that it is not ntended to give a written reply to Austria's Nute, but to continue the pourparlers with Baron von Aerenthal through the Ottoman Ambassador.
