LOSS OF LIFE. LAWLESS MINERS. A HOTEL BURNED. Received December 28, 8.25 a.m. NEW YORK, December 27. The Governor of Kentucky ordered a company of S*-ate militia to assist the marshals to suppress rioting in Whiteley County, where the miners are on strike.

A miner and a marshal have already bee.i killed, and several persona were burned to death in a hotel fire following a fight between th e marshals and miners.
