Sheridan, the actor, well- ( known for his performance of the part of " Widow O'Brien,'/ died suddenly at Newcastle last night. Probably no actor on the Australasian stage was more widely known or better appreciated than the genial impersonator of the famous Widow. He had made repeated appearances for a long series oi years in all the large towns of the Southern Hemisthere, as well as in America, but rarely concluded a season without staging the play introducing his great laughter-moving part.
