Received December Zl, 10 p.m TEHERAN, December 21.

Airi-ed-Dowleh shelled Tabriz, killing and wounding one hundred Nationalists. The Nationalist horsemen then made a sortie, covered by artillery, and routed and pursued the Shah's troops for thirteen miles. Twelve guns and quantities of jjrovisions and ammunition were captured.

The casualties on both sides numbered two hnndred. Those killed on the Nationalists' side included sixty-seven women dressed in male attire.
