REDUCTION IN SALARY WANTED. GOVERNMENT RECEIVES A REBUFF. PERTH, December 19. The State Government received a rebuff during a discussion on a motion to reduce the next Governor's salary. The Government defended the present salary, but the feeling of the House was displayed by its carrying a motion reducing the Government House vote by one pound.
