CALCUTTA, December 17

Ten of the most prominent men arrest:d two days sgo on charges of sedition have been sent to gaol in different places, including Agra, Lucknow, Bassein, and Mandalay.

LONDON, December 18. Viscount Morley, in the House of Lords, and Mr T. R. Buchanan, in the Commons, made statements revealing that the Government had a wide scheme for constitutional reforms in India. Viscount Morley said that a Royal Commission would be appointed to inquire into the internal relation between the Government of India and all its subordinate anj co-ordinate parts, and would report in February or March.
