SCHOOL ATTENDANCE.
A very creditable record of scholars ootaining good attendance certificates at the Masterton District High School is published in our columns to-day, a noticeable fact being that the ".habit" of :'good attendance at school "runs ...families," if *such an expression may be used. It is a very commendable habit, however, and parents who inculcate principles of regularity in their children when young usually see a satisfactory reward when their boys and girls advance in life. The staff of the school also deserves congratulation on such a good'record, as to their efforts also is due in a large measure the maintenance of a very satisfactory good attendance record in the school.
