M'EWAN'S ALES.
AN EXCELLENT BEVERAGE. . Nectar for the gods was never supplied with such gusto as the epicure feels-when enjoying a glass of McEwan's delicious, sparkling, aid highly invigorating ale. The following extract from statistics, compiled in Australia, regarding imported .ales, indicates the high opinion in which McEwan's Scotch Ale is held by the Australian public:—Out of a total 0f.3,483 hogheads, McEwan's represents 1,724; out r,f a total of 1,342 half hogheads, McEwan's represents 578; out of a total of 226 barrels, McEwan's represents 146; out of a total of 21,283 cases, McEwan's represents 15,805. Such an indication uf how much Australians pprecia te McEwan's, is the strongest possible evidence that it has the greatest merit and finest flavour. Success such as this is not the result ot caprice; if there were better beer the public would soon find it out. Messrs Laery arid Co., Ltd., of Wellington, have been appointed sole agents in New Zealand, and under their capable supervision it is quite likely that within the next few years this A!e will gain the same popularity in New Zealand as it has already done in Australia.
