FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
AN UNWELCOME REPORT.

The C.C. and D. Company, London, cables the following report on the frozen meat market: —"There is a decreasing demand for all descriptions of frozen meat, due to depressed conditions of trade throughout Great Britain, which must result in an all round decline in values in the immediate future. To-day's quotations:—Canterbury, mutton, 3|d; and North Island, 3£d. Lamb: First, 5Jd; second, sd. Beef.: hinds, 3jjd; fores, 3d.'"
