The top-weight, Master Dougias, list 131b, showed his consistency by winning the Hurdles, with liipporoffla second. The Douglas gelding is very well just now, and during the remainder of the season should hold his own in good company. Sunbonnet, Bst Sib, was supposed to have a really good chance of winning the Derember Handicap, but could do no better tnan run third to Stylish and Wharekura. The winner, with 6st 121b, was leniently treated, and skipped over the six furlongs in lmiti 15! sec.
| At nearly every meeting a rank j outsider wins in at least one race, and in the Telegraph Hack, The Saint filled the biil in this respect, and his followers were rewarded with a very substantial dividend. Good acceptances are expected tonight for the Lower Valley Jockey Club's meeting. Moloch was not very solidly supported by Master ton sports for the Summer Handicap at Dannevirke yesterday, but nevertheless much satisfaction was expressed at the fact of the Mauser gelding showing a return to winning formNorth East, who rani second in the Hack Welter at Dannevirke on Wednesday, is a Euroclydon gelding, owned by Mr H.
