PAHIATUA HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
MONTHLY MEETING. (From Our Pahiatua Correspondent). The mmthly meeting of the Pahiatua Hospital Trustees was held in the Borough Council Chambers, on Tuesday / evening. There were present-f-Messrs J. D. Wilson, H. J. Eames, E B. Hare and G. A. Burgess. Dr. Dawson was also in attendance. . Mr J. D. Wilson was appoint.-d Chairman for the ensuing year. • Apologies for absence were r<3- • ceived from Messrs S. Bolton and G. Taylor. The Secretary's report showed that j a (ire plug had been put in on the * Main road. During the month 10 patients had been admitted to the hospital, 11 discharged, one had died, and six remained at present in the Hospital. Messrs Burgess and Hare were appointed a finance committee for ■ the year, and Messrs Wilson, and Eames a visiting committee for three months. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the retiring chairman (Mr S. Bolton) for the interest he had always taken in the Hospital. Accounts amounting to £9O 6s 2d were passed for .payment, and the ■ meeting adjourned.
