AGRARIAN OUTRAGES.
STEADILY INCREASING IN IRELAND. Received December 16, 8,45 a.m. LONDON,' December id. Mr A. Birrell, Chief Secretary for Ireland, replying in the House to a question by Mr J. B. Lonsdale, Conservative member for Mid-Armagh, stated that there were 234 agrarian outrages in Ireland in 1906, 372 in 1907, and 537 during eleven months in 1908.
