The London Daily Chronicle's Constantinople correspondent states that the Turkish tsoycott Committee sank boats containing loggage and passengers arriving by an Austrian steamer.

Latest indications are that Austria is preparing to resume negotiations with Turkey, relying on the cessation pf the boycott after the offer of an indemnity formulated at Pesth.

Lloyd's correspondent states that the Austrian reply to the Russian Note sent in nowise excludes the continuation of negotiations relating to a conference.

The "Daily Telegraph" states that it is .reported that Turkey demands six million pounds indemnity, while M. AerenthaJ is only willing to pay £240,000.
