BRANCH FORMED AT HASTINGS

HASTINGS, December 9,
At a meeting of employees of the Pakipaki and North British Freezing Work 3? held, here last nig'it, M r Reardon (WeHington'j presiding, it was resolved to form a branch oc the Wellington Slaughtermen's T1 nion. Of fifty present, twentv-one Pakipaki and sixteen North British workers handed in their names as members. Mr J. Hunt, of Pakipaki, was appointed secretary.
