ELEVEN NATIVES KILLED AND TWENTY-SIX INJURED. Received December 9, 8.20 a.m. CALCUTTA, December 8. Several natives lost their lives, and 'others were seriously injured, through an explosion at the .cartridge factory at Dum Dum, a town in the Bengal Presidency. The explosion was purely acci-

dental. The casualty list is as follows (the victims being natives) : Killed 11 Injured 26

Dum Dum is an important military station six miles north by east of Fort William, Calcutta.
