United went first to the wickets, but were disposed of for 40 runs, Waters (9) being the highest scorer. C. Perry obtained 5 wickets for 18 runs, and D. Logan 4 for 14. Masterton in their innings made 140 rune, Thompson 39 rot out, Esson 24 and Perry 21, being the chief contributors. O'Leary captured 4 wickets, and Dwyertwo. The fourth round of the Auckland Cricket Association's championships were concluded yesterday afternoon in fine weather. In the Senior grade City beat University by 161 runs. In the first innings City made 366 (MacCormick 192 not out), and University 205. ~*>*-^Jha»4«WParnell and Grafton played a draw, resuming with three wickets down for 337 Parnell declared on the first innings, and closed at 362 for four wickets (Hutchings 60 not out). Grafton made 290 for 9 wickets (Cottell 93, Jones 54 and Mason 39 no out). Ponsonby beat Eden' Colts by 180. In the first innings Ponsonby made 209, and Eden Colts 191 (Relf 87). North Shore beat Eden A by 47 runs. In the first innings North Shore made 200 and Eden A 153 (Cummings 54). Going in again North Shore made 168 for 4 wickets (Callindar 44). Bowling for North Shore Hadnon took five wickets for 37 runs. There were no three point wins secured in the Senior grade matches.

In their second innings St. Albans scored 84 for 8 wickets. DUNEDIN FIXTURES. PLUNKET SHIELD TEAM AGAINST AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, December 6. Splendid weather prevailed yesterday when the cricket matches were continued. Dunedin beat Albion by 25 runs. In the first innings the former made 169 (Wilson 93) and Albion 144 (Drake 50 not out) and 69 for 2 wickets (Williams 33 not out). Carisbrook B beat Opoho by 170 runs. In the first innings Carisbrook compiled 332 (Adams 103 not out, Austin 54, Drumm 44), and Opoho 162 (Casey 47). Carisbrook A beat Grange by 38 runs.
