LOCAL OPTION POLL AT WAITEMATA.
REDUCTION LOST BY NARROW MARGIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 4. The official recount on the Local Option Poll in the Waitemata Electorate was concluded to-day, with the following result:—Continuance, 2471; Reduction, 2967; No-License, 3369. The valid votes were 5941. These figures show that continuance has been carried by 3£ votes over reduction.
