THE MYSTERIOUS YACHT.
LEAVES SYDNEY. Received December 3, 10.20 a m. SYDNEY, December 3. The mysterious American yacht Coronet has sailed, it is believed for Melbourne.
It transpires that those on board belong to a religious body known as "The Holy Ghost and Us," of which Sandford, owner of the Coronet, is founder. On Tuesday a cable message from Sydney stated—The American yacht Coronet, which arrived at Sydney a week ago, and about which a mystery was maintained, has cleared for Melbourne. The owner claimed exemption from the harbour regulations, as the vessel was o.i the register, and recognised by the Yacht Club. He refused to enter at the Customs. Yesterday, however, tie complied with the regulations. Five men and five women and five children are aboard. It is believed they are members of some fanatical religious sect.
