THE TURKISH BOYCOTT.
GOVERNMENT PRESSURE BROUGHT, TO BEAR. Received December 3, 10 a.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 2. The Customs porters and boatmen at Constantinople and Salonika are, under Government pressure, handling Austrian goods. The popular boycott is, however, expected to continue until Austria resumes negotiations with Turkey. , THE PRAGUE RIOTS. MARTIAL LAW PROCLAIMED. Received December 3, 10.50 a.m. VIENNA, December 2. The pro-Servian and anti-German troubles at Prague (Bohemia) have led to the proclamation of martial law. THE PORTE'S ACTION APPROVED. AUSTRIA WILLING TO NEGOTIATE. REGARDING THE ANNEXED PROVINCES. Received December 3, 9 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 3. Constantinople has expressed satisfaction at the Purte's correct attitude regarding the Customs porters, as their actions had proved effective in suppressing the boycott at the principal seaports. Austria is willing' to negotiate regarding compensation for the annexation of the occupied provinces.
