AUSTRALIAN PROSPECTS.
Received November 25, 10.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, November 25. At the annual conference of the Federal Council of the Chamber of Manufacturers, the chairman dwelt on the large increase in manufacturing interests. The prospects for Australia were, he eaid, never brighter; all they wanted was industrial peace. The conference adopted a resolution expressing undiminished con fidence in Mr Deakin as a public leader.
