STRONG CATHOLIC OPPOSITION. Received November 25, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 24. Lord Edmund Talbot, Conservative member of the House of Commons for Chichester, Sussex, and brother of the Duke of Norfolk, has intimated that as a representative of Catholic opinion it is his intention to give Mr Kunciman's Education Bill most determined and resolute opposition. Mr Cement Edwards considering the Bill reactionary, has intimated that he will move its rejection. NON-POLITICAL COMMITTEE. SUPPORTING THE COMPROMISE. Received November 25, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 24. A powerful non-political committee of moderates—leading Churchmen, Noncoformists, and education authorities —is supporting the proposed education compromise.
