ANGLICAN SYNOD.
THE DIOCESE OF WAIAPU. By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, November 23. At the Anglican Synod to-day, a motion by Mr Thomas Tanner, in favour of the division of the Diocese of Waiapu into two dioceses was negatived, several members opposing the proposal on the ground that it was premature.
