LONDON MEAT MARKET.

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellincton, have received the following cable from their London House, under date of 19th inst Frozen Meat—There is no demand for New Zealand beef, and prices are nominal. There is a limited demand for lamb, and the market is weaker. Mutton—The demand is limited and the market is weak. Our quotations for New Zealand descriptions are:— Prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, 42d; light, fifd per lb; prime crossbred Jamb, North Island, 4gd; light, s|d per lb; prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy, 3|d; light, 4d per lb; prime crossbred mutton, North Island, heavy, 3gd; light, 3fd per lb; prime ox beef, fores, 3£d; hinds, 3fd per lb. Tallow—The market is dull, and there is'very little doing. Since our last advices prices for tallow in genera are 6d per cwt lower.
