"THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS."

The many music lovers o : Masterton, who will remember the enjoyment derived from Mr Edward Branscombe's last visit to New Zealand with the Westminster Glee Singers, will doubtless welcome the advent o: another party of vocalists under his direction, in the forthcoming visit of the "Scarlet Troubadours," who are announced co appear at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, November 27th and 28th. This company, however, provide a rather different class of music, their programme being for the most part of a light and refined humorous character served up in a quaint and novel form, the numbers being "acted" in costume. Part singing forms the principal' feature of their performance, and as an assurance that this will prove of an acceptable character, it need but be mentioned that Mr Edward Branscombe is acknowledged in London to be the highest authority on this class of music. The "Scarlet Troubadours" should undoubtedly prove as great an attraction here as they have elsewhere, and musical patrons who enjoy good music, intermingled with pienty of fun, are likely to have such tastes fully satisfied at these performances.
