CATHOLIC BAZAAR.
Catholic bazaars held in Masterton well patronised by the general public, in previous years have always been and have been very successful in consequence, and the one to be held in the Town Hall from Monday, December 14th, to Saturday, December 19th., promises to be no exception. The ladies and men's committees and the stall-holders have been busily engaged for some weeks past in working to make the function a success, and so far results have been very encouraging. The chief attraction during bazaar week will be a grand dancing display to be taken part in by fifty performers, who have been practising their parts every evening for some time psst. A large number of valuable works of art have been donated for the purpose of raffles, and guessing competitions will also be held each evening. Selections will be rendered outaide the Hall by the Masterton Municipal Band. The Mayor (Mr P. L. Hollings) will open the bazaar. The price for admission to the Hall will be one shilling, and these tickets will also entitle the holders to a chancin the art union to be held in con junction with the-bazaar.
