A FALSE REPORT.
To the Editor. Sir,—As it has been falsely spread about that the No-License League is not favourable to my candidature, I would ask you to be good enough to publish the following letter, which I have received from Mr Jabez Bridges, the No-License advocate, and which he has given me permission to make public.
J. HUNTER. Mr J. Hunter. Dear Sir,—lf a ramour has been circulated to the effect that the NoLicense League is opposed to you as a candidate for the Masterton seat, 1 can assure you that the statement is absolutely untrue. The No-License League does not support any particular candidate. —I am, yours faithfully, JABEZ BRIDGES, No-License Advocate.
