The fixtures the Wairarapa Junior Championship competition had to be rearranged, owing to the difficulty ot arranging for grounds. The United Juniors who were to have played Mastet'ton Juniors, to-day, will have the bj-e, and St. Matthew's will journey fro Carterton, as the ground thpttt is not required for a Senior Masterton will play Mauricevijjp at Masterton. r £he following are the fixtures as now ... December 12th ard 19th —Mauriceville v. St. Matthew's, at Masterton; United v. Carterton, at Carterton ; Masterton a bye. January—Mauriceville v. United, at Masterton; St. Matthew's v. Masterton,at Masterton; Carterton a bye. The following will represent the Greytown Cricket Club against Carlton, this afternoon at Greytown:— Hawke, Howlett, Furlong, Bidwill, Trotman, H. Feast, A. Balfour, Everitt, Corbett, C. Maxton, Williams.
A meeting of the Committee of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was held last night, there being present—Messrs Mackellar (chairman), and W. Redmond (Masterton), A. Congdon and T. Feilding (United), C. Cole (St. Matthew's) H. Hopley (Mauriceville) and F. P. Welch (Carlton). A letter was received from the Masterton Cricket Club claiming a three points' win by default from Greytown owing to the latter's refusal to continue the Mas-terton-Greytown match on the 7th inst. A motion by Mr Congdon, seconded by Mr Fielding, "that a three-points' win be granted, to Masterton" was unanimously carried.
