MINISTER'S MEETING INTERRUPTED. SEVERAL F'$EE FIGHTS. MEN AND WOMEN EJECTED. Received November 13, 10.45 p.m. LONDON, November 13. Mr A. Birrell, Chief Secretary for Ireland, addressed a meeting of the Liberation Society in the City Temple. . Suffragettes interrupted Mr Birrell throughout his speech. Several free fights between supporters of She women's franchise and opponents to the movement took place. Thirteen women and three men were ejected. REGRET AT SUFFRAGETTES' MILITANT METHODS. Received November 13, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 12. Mrs Henry Fawcett, on behalf of the National Union of Women Suffrage Societies) hSS addressed a circular letter to the members of the House of Commons, expressing her deep regret at the militant methods adopted by the suffragettes, and asking Parliament, to enfranchise women next session.
