WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
; 'MEETING OF DIRECTORS. A meeting of Directors of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society was held on Saturday afternoon. There were present—Messrs D. McLachlan (chairman), D. Guild, G. E. A. Hood, J. B. McKenzie, A. Mutrie, W. Sellar, and E. H. Waddington. The secretary of the Wairarapa Athletic Association wrote asking if the Society was agreeable to the -registration of the New Zealand Athletic Union under the Unclassified Societies Act, as amended last sesion.—The question was referred to the delegates to the Wairarapa Athletic Association. The New Zealand League of 'Wheelmen wrote requesting advarfce 1 .payment of the Society's subscription to the League.—The Secretary was instructed to write to the League drawing their attention to the fact that the Society had discontinued the bicycle events at the meeting, and that the Society wished to resign from the League. Messrs R. Gray and J. B. McKenzie were re-appointed delegates to the Wairarapa Athletic Association. The Secretary submitted a statement in connection! with the last Ingleside, showing a' debit balance of £5 lis. Messrs D. McLachan, J. B. McKenzie, J. H. Pauling, W. Sellar, A. Haughey and the Secretary were appointed to draft a list of eligible stewards for the annual sports gathering, and to present the same to the next meeting or the Directors. A Concert Committee consisting of Messrs D. McLachlan, W. L. Falconer, G. Stewart, R. Grav, A. Haughey, G. McHattie, J. B. McKenzie, J. H. Pauling, W. Sellar, E. H. Waddington, and G. E. A. Hood were appointed to carry out arrangements for the annual cuncert. Three new members were elected.
