Won by one and a-quarter lengths. Time, -2min 9sec. Stakes—Hayfield 1, Simmerette 2. .Apple Pie 3. Won by one and a-half lengths. Time, Imin 4|sec. Handicap—King's Cross 1, Lady Diffidence 2, Tulkeroo 3. Twelve others started. Mazarin led into the -straight from. King's Cross, Tulkeroo being on the outside. A great race caused intense excitement, King Cross winning by a long head. Time, 3min 3sec. Plate —Alawa 1, Peru 2, Pink'un 3. Only starters. Peru went to ? the front at the bridge and made the pace a cracker. Alawa un the outside led into the home turn by three lengths. Fink-'un faded away, and Alawa won by half a neck. Pink-'un >a bad third. Time, 2min 36|sec. Steeplechase —Nigel and Seymour dead heat 1, No Trouble 3. Final Handicap—lolaire 1, Cithara 2, True Scot 3.
