Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Thursday was 19 points. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 5. The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow pect cold, wet and stormy weather generally. Westerly winds, strong to gale north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan. Heavy westerly gale thence to Hokitika and Lyttelton, changing to southerly and southerly gale elsewhere.
