CHINESE TROOPS DEFEATED. REINFORCEMENTS ASKED FOR. Received November 4, 9 a.m. Advices from Shanghai sta f .e that 10,000 Lamas in Tibet have rebelled, and that the Chipese troops were defeated. The Amban has asked for reinforcements. The Government at Pekin is urging the Dalai Lama to return to Tibet.
