Grass is abundant in the district, and the crops are looking remarkably well.
At the Anglican church on Sunday the Dedication was celebrated in connection with a hjiHiSu.r.'j cLuiiict; glass window to the memory of the late Mr John Groves. Mrs J. Groves was the donor. Mr Hornsby, M.P., will address the electors of the district next Saturday evening, November Tea, ann as Hornsby intends to deal with the closer settlement question the address is being looked forward to with interest, especially as there is so much good land in the district and so few people.
