UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.
The Masterton business of the Wellington and Wairarapa Motor Company, Ltd., hag been acquired byMessrs J. P. Smith and P. W. Reardon —two particularly capable mechanical engineers. The members of the new firm are well and favourably known to motorists throughout the Wairarapa. For the past twelve years Mr Smith has been connected with the firm which he and his partner have now taKen over, whilst Mr Keardon was motor and cycle engineer in Mr J. C. Ewington'a establishment for over eleven years. From the combination of the talents of these two, only good work can result. The plant they have now acquired is thoroughly up-to-date, and they N are in a position to undertake the most intricate repair work, including cutting gear wheels. In addition to repair work of any description, the firm I*3 also carrying one of the 1 argest stocks of motor tyres, sundries and accessories held in New Zealand. The stock on hand at present is worth over £I,OOO embracing every article that a motorist can require. Goods have been purchased for spot cash, and are to be sold at prices quite as low —and in some instances less—than city prices. With a large stock and every modern facility for carrying on a large business successfully, there is no reason why the new firm should not add very largely to the already extensive list of satisfied customers who transact business at th£ motor premises in Chapel Street.
