JUBILEE OF HAWKE'S BAY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, November 1. In commemoration of the jubilee of the Province of Hawke's Bay, a thanksgiving service was held in the Anglican Cathedral this afternoon. The large congregation included old settlers, representatives of local bodies and Government departments, volunteers, veterans and members of the fire service. Canon Mace, in course of his address, paid a testimony to the indomitable courage, energy and enduring patience of the pioneers.
