Mr J. C. Boddiugton reports that the rainfall registered at Wpper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Wednesday was 62 points. BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.^ " WELLINGTON, October 28. The following is Captain* Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow : "Southerly winds, moderate to strong, at all places, but changing to westerly, southward of Napier and Wanganui; little movement of barometer northward of Napier, Wanganui and Hokitika, but falling elsewhere."
