MEAT SALESMAN SUED.
SUPPLYING FOREIGN MEAT INSTEAD OF ENGLISH. Received October 28, 9 a.m. LONDON, October 27. The British Tea Table Company's action for damages against John Gardner, meat salesman, for breach of contract by supplying, foreign meat when English was contracted for, was settled on defendant paying plaintiff a sum to some extent representing the difference between the prices.
