LONDON MARKETS.

Messrs Dalgety and Co,. Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London House, under date of the 22nd instant:—Frozen Meat.—The market for beef is firmer, and prices may advance in consequence of colder weather. Supplies of chilled beef have decreased. Mutton market firm, but prices are unchanged. The market for lamb is firm, and prices since our last advice* are £d per lb. higher. Tallow —Prices are nominally unchanged, but the tendency is downwards. There is a very poor demand for tallow on the spot. Speculatorrs are offering to sell forward delivery at very low prices, hut buyers are indifferent.
