Who shall say, as frequently has been said, that in the matter of humour farmers are somewhat unsophisticated? Even the armour ot the usually somewhat imperturbable Mr M'Nab was not proof against the shafts of wit, as his face was frequently wreathed in smiles, and not mere ."election" smile 3, either.
