ENGLAND WINS MEATH TROPHY. LONDON, October 22. England won the Meath trophy with a score of 862, Australia being second with 801. The South Island of New Zealand was fourth with 736. The Roberts trophy is a competition for boys throughout the Empire. The teams consist of eight boys each, and the ranges are 500 and 200 yds. The Meath trophy was presented by the Earl of Meath for competition by British and colonial teams.
