INDIANS IN THE TRANSVAAL.
MEETING AT LAHORE. Received October 23, 9.55 p.m., CALCUTTA, October 23. A meeting of a Society representing five million Punjaub Mussulmans was held at Lahore, and denounced "the continuous persecutions of British Indians in the Transvaal." The meeting also deplored the inertness of the British Government in the matter, and besnusht the Indian Government to take action.
