ATTACK ON AUSTRIAN SHOPS.
BULGARIA AND HER RESERVES. Received October 20, 7.45 a.m. BELGRADE, October 19. An Italian mob at Belgrade made an attack on Austrian thops. The gendarmes did not interfere. M. Paprikuff, Bulgarian Foreign Minister, states thai, the Bulgarian reserves already summoned to the colours will be uisbanded on November 4th, unless Turkey is at that date engaged in menacing movements. The semi-official journal "Fremdenblatt" states that the pruposal to hold a European Conference will be approved by all the Powers desiring a peaceful settlement of the Near Eastern difficulties.

WAR MUNITIONS FOK SERVIA. A GERMAN STEAMER STOPPED. VIENNA, October 19. Austrian at Neusatz (Hungary), on the left bank, of the DanuDe, stopped a German steamer carrying munitions of war for Servia. Another steamer, carrying three batteries of quick-firers, also intended for Servia, was stopped by Auatrians at another point on the river. , PRINCE FERDINAND'S INTENTIONS. Received October 20, 9.30 p.m. 1 PARIS, October 20. The newspaper "Le Temps" that Prince Ferdinand on Saturday, through the French Minister at Sofia, telegraphed to President Fallieres his pacific intentions and determination to come to an agreement with Turkey and adopt the principle of compensation. M. Pichon informed the Turkish Ambassador of this, and the latter communicated with the authorities at Stamboul, thus stopping the mobilisation of the troops. Received October 20, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, October 20. Reuter's correspondent at Constantinople reports that Turkey is showing a disposition to avoid the conference and negotiate direct with Austria and Bulgaria. The latter is disposed to negotiate direct with Turkey regarding the Orient railway.
