Mr J. C. Boddmgton reports - that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Thursday was 6 points. BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, October 15. The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow: — "Southerly winds, moderate to strong northward of East Cape, Taupo and Kawhia; westerly winds, moderate to strong thence to Napier; westerly winds, strong to gale thence southward, and probably with rain."
