RIFLE SHOOTING.
'Opaki Rifle Club completed the first trophy competition on the view Kange on Saturday, at the 200 yds, 500 yds and 600 yds ranges. The weather was good, and the shooting was again first-class. In "A" Class, A. J. Cameron -won Mr J. K. Blinlchorne's trophy, with a net (--core of 96 made on Thursday, the highest of the Saturday men being S. McNabb, who aggrergated 93, including a handicap of 5. Messrs King and Henry's tropny for "B" Class went to H. P. Perry, with a score of 90 off the rifle.
