SOUTHLAND CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

The Southland Caledonian,directorate this year intend to give two days' Bports, and a programme passed to-night showed cash prizes aggregating £3OO, in addition to'over £SO worth of trophies. The big item on the programme is the £7O Caledonian Handicap. Last year the prize money for this event totalled £3l.
