Competition is brisk and buying is from all quarters owing to American competition. Good greasy merinos and fine crossbreds: any change in prices is in favour of . sellers. Greasy crossbred wools, medium and coarse quality: since our last telegram prices are 5 per cent, lower • except for wools suitable for America. Scoured merino and crossbred wools: prices are irregular and .as compared with last series closing rate 3 prices are at par to 1 per cent, lower, the decline being more especially on faulty scoured wools. Frozen meat: Frozen beef, market weak, chilled can be obtained at lebs than frozen. Mutton: Market quiet ■ and prices unchanged. Lamb: Prices are a shade higher, and market is very firm. Stocks held are small, and HMyiuk prices will advance. Talfirm but prices are unmarket is dull for on spot.
