AUCTIONEERS' MEMORANDA.
PALMERSTON NORTH CATTLE FAIR. The special attention of cattle buyera and others interested is drawn to the advertisement of two thousand head of well-bred Shorthorn and Polled-Angus cattle being offered by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in conjunction at their Palmerston North aaleyards, on account of Mr R. A. Mc.Kenzie, on Wednesday, October 14th. Included in the entry are 800 3 to 5-year-old bullocks, and we can confidently recommend these to graziers as being lines of exceptionally good coloured, well-bred cattle. The young cattle are all' station bred straight lines, and those in search of this class of stock should on no account miss the opportunity, which is one that seldom offers, of securing cattle that are bound to show good returns for grazing. There are also several lines of good cows, fat and forward, and also a particularly nice line of 200 2-year-old steers. Mr R. A. McKenzie's long experience among cattle is a sufficient guarantee that the whole 2,000 head have been carefully selected, and attention is drawn to the fact that the majority of the cattle are being sold without reserve. The sale will commence at 12.30 p.m.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., advertise opening entries for their Eketahuna stock sale on Friday, October 23rd. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., advertise opening entries for their stock sale at Eketahuna on Friday, 23rd inst.
