CRICKET.
The annual meeting of St. Matthew's Cricket Club was held last evening. There was a good attendance of members. Officers-for the ensuing year were elected as follow: —President, Rev. H. Watton; VicePresidents, Messrs W. H. L. Galwey, N. F. Eagar, W. B. Chennells, E. H. Waddington, J. H. Berry, A. H. Wrightson, W. H. Cole, and G. A. Jones; captain, R. Hatch; vice-captain, F. Dixon; secretary, J. Berry; treasurer, F. Dixon; selection committee, H. Simonson, D. La Roche, F. Phillips; management committee, P. Wilkie, G. Barr, P. E.lwards, H. Burridge, i.ni A. Miller: delegates, K. Hatch and S. Edward'. It was decided to enter a team for the Wairarapa Juniur Championship. -
